This is a small local spot that seems to have been around for decades. It’s our go-to for banh mi. The coffee is good, and there are a few dessert and grocery items available, along with refrigerated goods.

I’m giving this place four stars for the atmosphere because I enjoy the storefront’s cash-only, grab-and-go vibe. It’s my favorite spot for banh mi. Other items are good too, like the to-go com thit kho and the skewered meatballs, plus they have great condiments for sale. I often visit when heading to my mechanic, Tommy’s Shell, and last time I even bumped into him here. I typically order the steamed meatball or thit nuong, but honestly, everything is worth trying.

I hadn’t been here in a while but stopped by for a #2 to-go. It’s packed with all the goodies and just as delicious as I remembered. The line long. I love the banh mi here and will definitely be back for more.

This is easily the best banh mi I’ve had in LA County. I’d recommend the #8 charbroiled pork sandwich, the #B egg (op la) sandwich, and the iced coffee. After motorcycling through Vietnam from south to north, this is the closest you’ll get to authentic op la banh mi.
